first time at a salsa club any tips?
I am going to a salsa night, does any one have any tips for a mere beginner, who is a little shy and doesnt look at that good on the dance floor? what to wear?
Well the key will be to have fun! If you aren't really good at dancing its okay…guys lead…move your hips and follow the beat! As far as what to wear….heels(if you can dance in them) and a skirt or dress, but don't over do it…remember you will be dancing so dress comfortably but classy! Good luck, have fun, and next time invite me(teheheheh)!!!

Well the outfit is not important just dress normal, not try to wear like a salsa man, just relax salsa is hard.

Wear a dress or a skirt and nice shirt, and wear high heels. It's much, much easier to dance salsa if you're wearing heels. Because you're a woman, if you just stand by the side of the dancefloor, you're almost guaranteed to be asked to dance by someone. Latino guys tend to be very forward and don't have a tough time approaching women to dance. Just tell whoever you're dancing with that you've never tried it before, and they'll show you.
Have fun! I'm sure you'll have a great time. Salsa dancing is a blast.

I say wear something that you feel comfy in, you have to be able to move. The #1 thing in a salsa club is this: you have to be CONFIDENT!! Who cares if you think you look silly, get out there and HAVE FUN!! Trust me they are such a good time, no one will care, you will have a blast! Hold your head up and just move, you'll catch on

look around, find someone near you & do what they do. that works for me when all else fails & i have no idea how to dance to a certain song. pick someone who is not all complicated obviously, & you dont have to carbon copy them, just the basics so you dont look like an idiot =) jk of course!
let loose, no one will notice your not perfect besides you! …but what people will notice is if you are uncomfortable & scared to let loose. its just dancing! have fun!

wear something casual but still classy. nice jeans and a long sleeved shirt maybe. dance with the beat. move your hips. get into it.
